Hello, Bo Anderson, UAF alumnus extraordinaire, here to report that Perseverance Theatre is looking for a Carpenter Intern and an Assistant Technical Director for the next season starting in say August/Sept and going through to about June. The Carpenter Intern only needs to have taken at least Basic Stage Craft and would be working directly with me, THE MASTER CARPENTER MUAHAHAHA, and the ATD would work with the TD and do much more technical drafting and production meeting oriented work, and should know AutoCAD like the back of his/her hand. Come live in lovely Juneau Alaska earning an astounding $100 per week, living rent free in scenic Lemon Creek, within walking distance of the Alaskan Brewing Co., in a three bedroom apartment with me, and get a perseverance theatre car! See the website for more info on how you can get the job: http://www.perseverancetheatre.org/
Bo Anderson <dquixote@hotmail.com> I've only been to Alaska once, but I'll have to say it was a fun experience.
Tom Smith <tomsharron@consolidated.net> hey i just wanted to check out your school, since i will be moving there shortly, i hope you have room for a soon to be freshman. love the site.
Brittany <sad_girl4u2002@yahoo.com> Great site, looking to see what is out there for school programs ext... your web page is one of the best out on the web that i know of. Have a good day all and i'll stop back soon.
Justin Bowman <woc2222@yahoo.com> I just graduated from high school. I have pretty much lived in the theatre since I was in 7th grade. I think I want to major in archaeology, but I love being involved with theatre and music.
Jess Colvin <jcolvin_3@hotmail.com> I am impressed with the work of Kade Mendelowitz. I studied lighting design under Walter Ensign and Lee Salisbury at UAF Theatre from 1981 to 1986. At the time, the facilities had the original Kliegl lighting system. In those years, the Lee H. Salibury Theatre gave me unlimited resourses to learn the art of lighting design. It had 96 12kw SCR dimmers, a five scene preset board, and a Kliegl Performer I computer board. The Performer was an inovation at the time, although it cost over $25,000! I have photographs of my designs there and am offering them to you to add to your archival collection. Please contact me if you are interested.
John N. Barnes <johnnyred57@yahoo.com> As a graduate of UAF Drama Dept., I am impressed by your website and the progress the department has made. Keep up the good work! I will be visiting my old stomping grounds through your website often.
John N. Barnes <johnnyred57@yahoo.com> Hi, Theatre UAF: The production The Taming of the Shrew was, IMHO, wonderful! Thank you for the sensational treat. Though I am not a native speaker of English (this means I could at best decipher 70 % of actors' dialogs in early modern English, but it did not present any major problems to understanding the story), I had thoroughly enjoyed it. It was fun and definitely relaxed me from the dreadful end-of-semester rush. In fact, after the play, I felt so alive and full of energy, that I needed to get myself a shrew ;) Please do keep up the excellent work.
Troy <ftcyw@uaf.edu> This is a great website and i really want to go to this university and study bothe zoology and costume design. It has so many cool things on it and its really helpful. I♥ Alaska!
Natasha Des Rochers <therock@wimberley-tx.com> I am a Freshmen at a Harlingen High School. I am hoping to attend to this wonderful school. I lived in AK for 2 yrs long time ago. I know i will love acting 'cause i love the Arts. Future UAFer!!
Isabel Gonzalez <sanchez-sara@sbcglobal.net> Hello UAF-fers. I went to UAF for a couple years and did some shows with y'all. Do you remember at all? Anyway, I keep tabs on your projects and it looks like you're still going strong. Super cool.
Christie <cdubois02@whitworth.edu> Son is looking for a Master in Fine Arts degree. He has a near minor in theatre set design.. His experience is at ONU, he spent his summers working at the theatre. He really misses it and will be living in Alasks after he comes out of the Army... stationed at one time in Anchorage and loved it. send info to me on Fine Arts Masters degree
Cheryl <trayne1837inc@yahoo.com> Hi, Love your website! I'm just a Mom hoping to get a peek at some of the plays my son is in otherwise I would never know since he never emails me! Thank you though for giving this Mother her fix! Sigh. I'll be back for more.

I'm an 11th grade student in charge of the costuming for this year's Massachusetts State Drama Festival. We are adapting a piece called the Snow Goose by Paul Gallico and as the titla advertised, there is a need for bird costumes, actually, quite a few of them. I'm still trying to get ideas on how to construct these. If anyone has ANY ideas, please e-mail me and let me know, it would be very much appreciated. Futhermore, I need some costumes for a tavern in the late World War II European setting. Any ideas for those would be welcomed also.
